Urban Yard had me drooling over the breakfast spread. The cozy vibes in the lounge were legit! The rooms were squeaky clean and had a fab shower—perfect after a day of culinary adventures!
The neighborhood's vibe is a bit sketchy at night, and you'll want to steer clear after dark. Still, it’s not as dire as some reviews suggest—a bit of common sense goes a long way.

We had a pleasant stay with clean accommodations and great access to the train station, making it easy for us to explore. Breakfast was acceptable, and finding hot water for tea was a plus for our family.
My kids wished for more variety at breakfast. A couple more options for picky eaters would really help families.

The Superior Triple Room was spacious and super tidy. The shower was fantastic, with great water pressure. The beds were comfy, and I really appreciated the modern vibe of the decor. Staff were friendly and made everything feel easy. One downside was that there was no mini fridge in the room, which would have been handy. Plus, I noticed a bit of noise from the hallway late at night, which was a little disruptive.

easy access to major landmarks and vibrant parks nearby
During my stay, I found it super convenient to stroll to the Grand Place, which is just about 1.5 km away, and enjoyed spending time in the nearby park where locals were relaxing and soaking up the sun. the ambiance made my weekend city explorations even more delightful. A little tip for fellow city wanderers is to check out the stunning Magritte Museum which is only a short walk of almost 2 km and definitely worth visiting especially for art lovers.
